PENGARUH UTANG LUAR NEGERI DAN EKSPOR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI INDONESIA PERIODE 2000.1 – 2008.4
ABSTRACT: This article aims to
identify and analyze the effect of foreign debts and exports to economic growth
in Indo-nesia. Secondary data used is quarterly data of period 2000.1 – 2008.4.
Sources of data are from Bank Indone-sia and IMF. This article is based on debt
led growth and export led growth hypothesis. Econometric model used is Vector
Error Correction Model (VECM). The results of this research are as follows:
First, export vari-able lag 3 that is D{LX(-3)}has negative and signifi-cant
effect to the economic growth in Indonesia periode 2000.1 – 2008.4. Second,
economic growth variable lag 1 that is
D{LG(-1)} has positive and significat effect to the economic growth in
Indonesia periode 2000.1 – 2008.4. Third, foreign debts and exports proved has
no positive and signifanct effect to the economic growth in Indonesia periode 2000.1
– 2008.4.
