PEMERINGKATAN PEKERJAAN PADA SEBUAH RUMAH SAKIT PENDIDIKAN SEBAGAI BAGIAN DARI PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM REMUNERASI
Abstract: This study
explores the compensable
factors of each
job group in
a type a public hospital served
as teaching hospital.
Work clusters (job
family) in hospital
consist of physician, nurses,
medical & non-medical
supporting work, administrative work and
workers & maids.
The purpose of
this study is to arrange
an incentive remuneration system
by formulating compensable
factors. The compensable
factor (criteria to rank
job by assessing
workload of each
job/ position) was
established according to job
characteristic and government
regulations. Observations, interviews, and
group discussions were
conducted to gather
information and to obtain
acceptable factors. This
research had found
three compensable factors, i.e.
workload, responsibility, and
risk (to evaluate
jobs), and a
factor (to assess individual performance).
Employees will get
fixed and variable
incentives based on workload
and will obtain
fair and just
remuneration from hospital
revenues.
