Efforts to Control Halucination By Group Activity Therapy of Perception stimulation in Sakura Ward Banyumas Hospital
Abstract: Schizophrenia is a
common health problem in the whole world, around 70% of people suffering from
schizophrenia experience hallucination. It causes client feel anxiety. One of
the nursing intervention that we can do to control is group activity therapy of
perception stimulation of hallucination. To find out the influence group
activity therapy of perception stimulation of hallucination in hallucination
controlled.
This research used comparative with quasi experimental design: pre and
post one group design. The samples used purposive sampling with 14
hallucination’s client as respondents. Data analyzed was using distribution of
frequency and paired t test. Frequency decreased (p=0,000), Duration decreased
(p=0,001) and level response of hallucination decreased (p=0,000). group
activity therapy of perception stimulation of hallucination is significant to
decrease Frequency, Duration, Level response of hallucination.
