Peran Kaspase pada Apoptosis sebagai Salah Satu Usaha dalam Kemoterapi Kanker
Abstract: Apoptotic is a
programmed, manage form of cell death
through a signal transduction cascade which is genetically controlled. Besides
taking role in a development system, immune system maintenance and tissue
homeostatic, apoptotic is also the main response to chemotherapy. Apoptotic
takes a significant role in cancer prevention and therapy.
Apoptotic induced chemotherapy generally objects in the DNA destroying,
cell membrane lipid component, and proliferation inhibition. So that the cancer
therapy is expected to alter the signal transduction cascade to achieve
homeostatic as balanced as the previous condition.
Protease enzyme group, that is caspase, takes role in arranging and
executing cell death apoptotically and is influenced by the p53 protein. Only
some from 14 caspase group members do not involve in apoptotic mechanism. They
which are called apoptotic initiators are caspase-2, 8, 9, and 10. While caspase-3,
6, and 7 are called the effectors or executors and are directly involved in
cell destroying mechanism. Caspase-12 takes role in cytokine activation as well
as mediating the apoptotic.
It has been arranged in vivo researches and they that use cancer cell
culture in order to comprehend the mechanisms involving caspase in chemotherapy
inducing apoptotic process.
