PERTUMBUHAN DAN KETIMPANGAN PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI ANTAR DAERAH DI PROVINSI RIAU
Abstract: This research aimed
to know disparity of economic growing in Riau Provincebetween Regency. The data
was analyzed with Kuadran System, Williamson Indeks, entropiTheil Indeks and
the proof of Kuznets Hypothesis. From the research, can conclussion thatonly
Pekanbaru City in First Kuadran ((high growth and high income). The area that
catego-rize into high growth but low income is Pelalawan, Kuantan Singingi,
Indragiri Hulu andSiak Regency.. Indragiri Hilir, Rokan Hulu dan Kabupaten
Kampar can categorized intohigh income but low growth, meanwhile the area
categorized into low income and low growthare Rokan Hilir, Dumai and Bengkalis.
In Williamson and entropi Theil Index got differentanswer. According to
Williamson Index, Riau Province have increasing disparity in growingof economic
but entropi Theil Index categorized that Riau Province have decreasing
dispar-ity of growing in economic. Based on Williamson and entropi Theil Index,
Riau Province isnot categorized based on Kuznets Hypothesis.
