ANALISIS PERPINDAHAN PANAS KAMPAS REM PADA SEPEDA MOTOR
ABSTRACT: Brake is one of the
component that is important for safety. It is used to decelerate, control and
stop the rotation of the wheel. There
are many kind of product of
brake pad in the market. AHM ( Astra Honda Motor) is a
factory product that is different compare with INDOPART which has many grade of
quality. The aim of this research is to
analysis heat transfer on the brake
pads and then compare of the two brand
of brake pad. The methods of the experiments was using new sample both two
brand. Specimens were analyzed to
examine the rate
of the wearing
out of those
brake pads.Based on
the experiment,the heat
transfer compare with thermal conductivity (q/k) of brake pads of Astra
Honda Motor was lower than INDOPART.
