rice husk board
with double plate method. Board
from rice husk ash was varied by size, resin content and board density. Rice
husk was varied into three size groups,
namely rice husk smaller than 1 mm in
size, hull size of 1 mm to 2 mm, and chaff large size of 2 mm. Gluten
content was varied in three groups, ie + 20 %, + 45 % and + 75 %. The
combination of particle size and concentration of adhesive produces 9 types of
board husk with different densities. The results showed that the price of
thermal conductivity of each sample board is very small and varies chaff. Rice
husk board that has the price of the lowest thermal conductivity is the board
from rice husk by husk size smaller than 1 mm and grade adhesive + 20 % with k
= 0.187 (J s-1 m-1 K-1), while rice husk board price has the highest thermal
conductivity is larger than 2 mm and grade adhesive + 75 % with the thermal
conductivity k = 0.329 (J s-1 m-1 K-1).
