STUDI EKSPERIMENTAL MESIN REFRIGERASI SIKLUS KOMPRESI UAP MENGGUNAKAN REFRIGERAN HIDROKARBON SUBSTITUSI R22 PADA KONDISI TRANSIENT
ABSTRACT: Halokarbon
refrigerant or R22 used in refrigeration systems later revealed potentially damaging
the ozone layer, as replacement could be used a hydrocarbon refrigerant, one of
which is environmentally friendly HCR22 refrigerant. In this study conducted
experimental study of vapor compression refrigeration machine that compares the
performance of the engine in transient conditions using hydrocarbon refrigerant
substitutes for R22 (HCR22) and the refrigerant halokarbon (R22). The results
showed that the use of hydrocarbon refrigerant HCR22 (10.6oC
temperature achieved at the time 10 minutes) lower temperature achieved faster
than using the R22 (19.8oC temperature achieved at the time 10
minutes). This result is comparable with the resulting COP, COP with HCR22
(3.104 after 50 minutes) is greater than the R22 COP (2.123 after 50 minutes).
Compressor power used by HCR22 (0.846 kW after 65 minutes) is smaller than the
R22 (0.953 kW after 65 minutes). Can be concluded that the use of hydrocarbon
refrigerant to produce cooling low temperature more rapid with a more efficient
electrical consumption of compressors.
