KAJI EKSPERIMENTAL DAN NUMERIK LENDUTAN MATERIAL BAJA KARBON ST.60 DENGAN TUMPUAN JEPIT - ROL

Abstract: The aim of this researh is to analyze the deflection phenomena of St.60 steel with numerically and experimentally placed on the fixed-roller support. The method used in this research was integration method for numerical analysis and testing method for experimental analysis. The supports use a fixed - roller, with the material of carbon steel of St.60 with length 800 mm, width 10 mm and thickness 10 mm. The instrument used was a tensile test machine, testing machine deflection which includes a dial gauge, ruler, support, and loading. The result of research it is obtained that the value of the deflection, for a = 200 mm; ymax = 0,393 mm (experimentally) and ymax = 0,382 mm (numerically), for a = 400 mm; ymax = 0,769 mm (experimentally) and ymax = 0,749 mm (numerically), and for a = 600 mm; ymax = 0,610 mm (experimentally) and ymax = 0,595 mm (numerically). The value of deflection obtained experimentally was greater than the value obtained numerically.
