Alat Kompregnasi untuk Peningkatan Mutu Kayu Batang Kelapa Sawit

Abstract: The development of oil palm plantation business is important to increase foreign investment in non-oil sector. The processing of the negative impact such as rejuvenation that generate waste and air pollution from the combustion process. To get a better result of processing is necessary to study the characteristics of oil palm stem wood, nature, and the interaction of temperature  and  pressure  Kompregnasi  appropriate  magnitude  in  the  utilization  of  oil palm  stem  wood.  Improved  Quality  of  wood  was  done  by  using  Kompregnasi,  where  to avoid development and shrinkage of wood due to the change of air, given a filler material (bulking   agent)   into   the   wood   structure.   From   the   study   results   obtained   by   the kompregnasi  optimal  and  increase  strength  classes  stem  palm  Strength  Flexural  Static (MOR)   and   Weight   Gravity   (WG),   including   grade   wood   II,   in   testing   the   physical properties and mechanical properties at 80 ยบ C with a pressure of 11 Kg / cm ² is cm2 (KA =  10.4267%,  WG  =0.6211  gr/cm3,  PB  (Penambahan  Berat)  =  36.4703,  S  =  8.0799%, MOR = 523kg/cm2, H = 73.2163 kg / cm   2, T = 35.2331 kg /cm3).
