Percobaan Sistem Peredam Energi Tipe Bucket Pada Spillway Mercu Bulat
Abstract: Most of spillways
failure in Indonesia are caused by local scouring that happens continuously at
downstream, and at time local scouring get the foot of spillway will dangerous
for its operational. This scour occurs because of advanced value of specific
energy overflow with high head relatively so that it appear unbalance velocity
flow and turbulence flow. An effort to protect foot spillway is build the
structure energy dissipator. From this concept at foot spillway is designed with
one, two, or more energy dissipator agree with condition and many variables at
deform process mechanism appropriately. At laboratory two dimensional physical
test had done and its influence for hydraulic jump bucket flow, energy
reduction, along with local scour at downstream. At spillway with energy
dissipator ,the length of hydraulic jump for upstream depth (Hd= 0,0320 m till
0,0750 m) present in interval (0,305 m till 0,550 m) with downstream normal
water depth (0,0310 m till 0,1080 m). Froude Numbers are identified at each
initial hydraulic jump bucket flow occur at model (spillway with energy
dissipator) present at interval (2,00 – 2,43) The deepest scour at model
present at values (0,0602 m – 0,2450 m).
