Strategi Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota Surabaya dalam Pengelolaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) untuk Mewujudkan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan dan Berwawasan Lingkungan
Abstract: Problems in this
research aim to describe how strategies of Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota
Surabaya in management of green open space to achieve sustainable development
and environmental insight. Focus of this research lies on the form management of
green open space that consists of parks and green channel. This research was
conducted by using qualitative research methods and descriptive research type. The data
collection was done by observation, interview, and official documents of
related instance. Locations of research conductucted at Dinas Kebersihan dan
Pertamanan Kota Surabaya and determination of informants uses purposive
sampling and snowball technique. Examination for data validity that uses
technique of triangulation of data sources was done by compares the results of
the observational data with interview data and compares the results of
interviews with relevant documents. Data analysis in this research uses data
reduction step, data presenting and drawing conclusions (verification). The final
conclusion obtained in this research concludes green space management that are
managed by Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota Surabaya the implementation
went well with the involvement of society, the private sector and with
optimizing the green open spaces. It also could not be separated from the human
resources departement that has a competent and commited in the management of
urban green space. Defined strategy based on the SWOT analysis looks at the
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
