RESPON PERTUMBUHAN STEK PULAI (Alstonia scholaris (L).R.Br.) TERHADAP PERBEDAAN KOMPOSISI MEDIA SAPIH TOPSOIL DAN COCOPEAT DENGAN SISTEM KOFFCO
Abstract: The objective of
this research was to find out the growth response of pulai (Alstonia scholaris
(L) R.Br) cuttings to the difference composition of topsoil and cocopeat as
seedling medium on the KOFFCO system. This research was conducted in the green
house of BPK Banjarbaru for 2 months and used 5 treatments with 10
replications. The data was analyzed by comparing the parameter of the growth
rate. The best response was shown by the highest value of growth parameters.
The results showed that 100% top soil has the highest value of shoot length and
total number of the leave, one third of topsoil cocopeat composition has the
highest value of total number of rooting system and 100% cocopeat has the
longest rooting system compared to the others.
