PERTUMBUHAN ECENG GONDOK (Eichornia crassipes Mart. Solm) PADA AIR BEKAS PENAMBANGAN BATUBARA
Abstract: The aim of this
research is to know Tunjukkan huruf latin the growth of water hyacinth
(Eichornia crassipes Mart. Solm) in waste water of coal mine. Research with
experimentally design is located in Silviculture Laboratory Faculty of
Forestry. The treatments were comparison between fresh water and waste water
from the coal mining. There are five (5) treatments medium 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%
and 100% mine water. Water hyacints were
took from swamp area at Martapura, frehs water from irigasi and mine water from
Cempaka. The results showed that the growth of water hyacinth is decreased of
mine water from coal mine on wet weight,
dry weight and top-root ratio parameters. Water hyacinth can survive
until the fifth week in the mine water, after which the growth and absorption
by water hyacinth is not optimal.
