PENGARUH KUAT MEDAN MAGNET DAN IMBIBISI BIJI PADA PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI KEDELAI (Glycine max L. Merr.)
Abstract: An
experiment using treatments of imbibition and magnetic field intensity had been
conducted during March – May 2010 in Departement of Biology, Colledge of Math
and Natural Science, Lampung University.
The objective of this experiment was to know the effect of treatments on
growth and production of soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.). The treatments were arranged factorially
(2x4) within a randomized complete design with three replicates. The first factor was seed imbibition those
were no imbibition (Po), and with imbibition (P1). The second factor was magnetic field
intensity (K) those were 0,0; 0,1; 0,2; and 0,3 mT. Each replication used one pot with two plants
per pot. Resulst shows that imbibition
treatment before planting affected on performance of growth and production of
soybean plant. It was shown by variables
of dry weight of stem and leaf, fresh weight of pod, fresh weight of seedc, and
dry weight of seeds. Main effect of the
treatments of magnetic field intensity on performance of growth and production
of soybean plant were not significant.
