KAJIAN KOMPARATIF EKONOMI USAHATANI KAKAO MELALUI TEKNIK SAMBUNG SAMPING DI PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH
Abstract: The research aims to
determine the amount of production, income levels, increased revenue and income
differences between farmers who did and who did not side grafting. The results
showed that the average number of production and the income of farmers who did
side grafting is 1523.95 kg / ha / yr or Rp. 15,327,208 per hectare per year
and that does not do side grafting is 943.96 kg / ha / yr or Rp. 7,693,224 per
hectare per year. Increased revenue or profits cocoa farming by side grafting
is always accompanied by the increase in the cost of production, but this
increase (increased revenue and production costs) are still providing value
added benefits high enough, that any increase in the cost of production of the
rupiah gained additional farm profit of Rp. 2.14. The analysis also showed that
income disparity is evident between farmers who side grafting (t-count =
6.49> t-table of 1% α = 2.36). As per the results, farmers need to plant
cocoa rehabilitation through side grafting technique using superior clones.
