JENIS-JENIS BAMBU DI SEKITAR SUNGAI DAN PEGUNUNGAN DESA HULU BANYU
Abstract: The research
obyective is to study the species composition of bamboos in along the river and
mountain of the Hulu Banyu Village. The method of research is The Vegetation
Analysis Method with Nested Sampling, namely by using the strip which in the strip had been made 50
compartments continously with the size 20 m x 20 m respectively. Result of the
research show that had been found five bamboos species in along the river,
namely rabungan, buluh, tali, tamiang and haur, while in the mountain had been
found four bamboos species, they are rabungan, buluh, tali and tamiang. In the
both area, rabungan bamboo is the dominance species or it is the potential
species to be a best commodity for local community in the area to develove
their income.
