INVENTARISASI JENIS - JENIS POHON BERMANFAAT GANDA UNGGULAN LOKAL (Multi Purpose Tree Species) BERDASARKAN KONDISI EKOLOGISNYA DALAM RANGKA UPAYA REHABILITASI LAHAN KRITIS DI KABUPATEN BANJAR
Abstract: The Multi Purpose
Tree species (MPTS) is exceeding really in some cases compared to other wood
trees with the single benefit both of
endemic or exotic species looked into from various aspect, which are
economic, technical, ecological, and social aspect. The exceeding of MPTS are
coming from original habitat, have been tested and able to adapt
environmentally, valuable preserve the biodiversities, and high economic
valuable and also taken a fancy to by society. Type MPTS more prospective for
succeeding in rehabilitation activity of
critical land. This research aim to register potency of MPTS pre-eminent
locally. The method used is interview to key respondent especially direct
farmer and measurement plot by purposive sampling. This Research is conducted
in Banjar Regency, Province of South Kalimantan. Based on this
research, there are 3 sub district owning local pre-eminent type MPTS
potency and altogether located in the dry land, that is sub district Pengaron,
Karang Intan and Aranio. There is 22 type which have potency as
MPTS local pre-eminent type in Banjar regency, where from data analysis
indicate that there are 10 type owning highest pre-eminent score, that is :
Durian, Local Rubber, Pre-Eminent Rubber, Cempedak, Lansat, Petai, Sugar palm,
Mango, Chicoo, and Kasturi
