FERMENTABILITAS DAN KECERNAAN IN VlTliO SERBUK SABUT KELAPA YANG DISUPLEMENTASI DENGAN BEBERAPA TARAF MINERAL SULFUR
ABSTRAK: The objective of this
research was to determine the effect of supplementation of sulphur on the in
vitro OM,. NDF, AOF digestibility and ferm.entability characteristicS of coco
dust previously fermented with rumen microbe. Digesb'bility . was determined
after 48 h incubation with rumen fluid of Tilley and Terry technique.' Data
were analyzed as a Block J'andomized Design. The treatment, were 0, 0.1, 0.2
and 0.3% level of sulphur on dry matter. DigeStibility Of nutrients, were
difference among treatments (p<0.05). Supplementation of sulphur could
increase the digesb'bility and ferm.entability of coco dust. The best
digesb'bility and fermentability were obtained by supplementation of 0.2% sulphur
on dry matter.
