PROSPEK PERBANKAN SYARIAH Studi Pandangan Elite Pesantren Salafiyah Perkotaan di Sampang Madura
Abstract: In modern world, the
role of banks is needed. The existing conventional banks now less touch sense
of justice so that people begin switching sharia based baking. However this
Islamic banking still takes time, socialization and support from all parties
especially from the scholars who have influence in Muslim communities. This
study used a qualitative approach. The purpose of this study was to understand
the views of salafiyah elite (ulama, kyai) in urban Sampang about Islamic
banking. It was deemed appropriate method of phenomenology. Extracted data used
interview and documentary. Data were then analyzed descriptively. The result
showed a view from three groups. The first group was the group that did not
respect. The second one was the group that was lack of respect but recommended
and the last one was the group fully respected and encouraged the society. It
is suggested that if banks want the
elite boarding school to involve in the socialization of Islamic banking, it
should consider the third character of these groups.
