Pengelolaan Hutan Rakyat Berbasis Gender Di Dusun Wates, Kabupaten Wonogiri
Abstract: The
objective of this
research is to
find out community
forest management based on
gender and influence
factors of community
forest management based on
gender using fungsionalism
structural by Talcott Parsons Method.
This method sees
that society is
a system consist
of the part that interrelated and each part seek in
balance and harmony continually. This research
method wasusing case
study, and the
location of research
wasin Dusun Wates, Desa
Sumberejo, Kecamatan Batuwarno,
Kabupaten Wonogiri. In-depth interviews,
half structure interview
observation, and documentation were used for data collection.
The interview was conducted to the community in Dusun Wates
and member of the Komunitas
Petani Setifikasi (KPS) Gondangrejo Dusun
Wates. Those data were
validated using sources
of triangulation. Data analysis
technique used in
analysis gender was
Harvard-1 or model HAF.
The result of
this research prove
thatwomen is likely
included in community forest management
practice, eventhough men
are being involved
more dominant. Women have
less control in
decision making related
to community forest management.
In the implementation of
community forest management, women and
men have different
tasks.Women responsible for
activity that patient is
needed, while men
are responsible for
activitie that need
a lot of energy.This research
also found that
there are many
factors influence community forest
management based on gender, such
as politics, culture, environment, economic condition, and
knowledge.
