KRITIK MEDIA DAN APRIORI PEMERINTAH
Abstract: Pers journeys post
New Order era up to present have a greatly developing, either qualitative or
quantitatively. Quantitaviely, spreading of mass media industry affected to the
large number of information choices that can be accessed by public. Meanwhile,
qualitatively, our pers stand in a real pers idealism. It’s marked by the pers
freedom in serving information, both social, culture, politics, economy, and
any other themes. Connection pattern between government and pers also
experienced up and down condition. If pers in Soeharto’s era chained by the
government’s power, meanwhile pers at present era has an inverted condition.
Pers can play their role as politics and social control dominantly. But this
connection always in an unharmonic state. It’s because media critics considered
as too harsh so affect government’s apriori attitude toward pers.
