HUBUNGAN ANTARA PEMAHAMAN WARTAWAN TENTANG BAHASA JURNALISTIK DAN TEKNIK PENULISAN BERITA
ABSTRACT: News in the mass
media should use language that is good and true, so that each message of
positive news can be accepted by readers. However, often times in the
presentation of a story, journalists use language that is difficult to
understand its meaning. This research used Cognitive Dissonance theory from
Leon Festinger. Main idea of this theory is the discrepancy between cognition
as an aspect of attitude with someone’s self-behavior. This theory may allow
two elements to have three relationships which is different with each other,
that is consonant, dissonance, or irrelevant.
