HISTORIOGRAFI ISLAM : PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN DARI MASA KLASIK-MODERN
Abstract: Historiography is
essentially a representation of consciousness in the era historian and cultural
environment in the historian's life. The views historian of the historical
events that poured in writing will be influenced by the circumstances of the
times and the culture in which historians alive. In other words, the historian
necessarily represent the views of the times and culture.
In Islamic historiography seen the efforts of the Muslims to realize the
Islamic ideal fit between the model and reality. Islamic ideal model contains
universal values as a benchmark and so powerful stimulant in the dynamic
history of the Islamic Ummah. Rose and fell, then rose again so mesmerizing
Muslim history.
