PELAKSANAAN INSTRUKSI MENTERIAGAMA REPUBLIK INDONESIA NOMOR 5 TAHUN 1991 TENTANG BADAN AMIL ZAKAT, INFAQ, DAN SHADAQAH (BAZIS) Dl KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR
Abstract: The purpose of this
study is to determine the implementation of collection and disbursement/pentasharufan
zakat, infaq and shadaqah (ZIS) and simultaneously to identify the barriers
thatoccur in the collection and disbursement/pentasharufan conducted by the
Boardof Zakatand Sadaqah Infaq (BAZIS KaranganyarDistrict). To achieve those
goals then conducted the empirical/sociological research with the intention of
pro viding a clear picture about the implementation of collection and
disbursement of funds by the ZIS in BAZIS Karanganyar District in an effortto
improvethe welfareofthe people. Population in this research is regional BAZIS
Karanganyar District, by taking BAZIS sampel District of Karanganyar,
Tasikmadu, and Jaten. Inlevel countryside taken by Manggeh, Buran, and
Gotanoncountryside , and also some illcitizen of cataractoperation. Technique
analyse data in thisresearch is interactive model of analysis. The results of
this study show thatBAZIS Karanganyar District every month to collect alms,
infaq, and shadaqahmorethan 75 million rupiah thus collected annually
approximately 900 000 000 million rupiah. Number of ZIS funds is then
distributed to the various activities that are largely for infrastructure assis
tance shrines. Then, for student scholarships SD/MI, JuniorHigh and High
School/MA as well as for venture capital assistance to dhu'afa. The obstacles
faced are the collectors who lack professional staff, not to pick up the ball,
the collectorhas not thought about the welfare and publicawareness is very low.
