EFEKTIFITAS REGULASI PERMENDIKNAS NOMOR 84 TAHUN 2008 TENTANG PENGARUSUTAMAAN GENDER BIDANG PENDIDIKAN (STUDI KASUS Dl KABUPATEN KEBUMEN)
Abstract: The purpose of this
research is analyzing the effectiveness ofnational minister regulation number 84
of 2008 on gender mainstreaming in education and identifying the factors
causing the effectiveness of regulation. This research located in Kebumen
Regency. The type of this research is policy evaluation research. This research
used qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources were informants, places and
events, and documents. Data collecting technique performs by literature study
and focus group discussion. The informants were selected refer to its purpose.
Data validation based on triangulation and its analyzed using interactive
analysis model. The result of this research indicates: 1) nationaleducation
ministerregulationnumber 84 of 2008 is effective promote on gender equality and
equity in education, 2) the factors influence the effectiveness of regulation
including: political will, the effectiveroleon gender working groupand gender
localpoint, gender sensitive human resources, gender based information system,
the availability of gender analysis instru ment, gender responsive budget,
technicalassistance from the government at provinciallevel, and com munitysupport.
