Androgen Dihydrotestosterone dan Perannya pada Sistem Reproduksi Pria
Abstract: Androgensarehormone
that plays an importan role in male reproductive system and produced
signifcantly in form of testosterone by Leydig cells in testes and found in
circulating throughout the body. The formation of androgens is esensialin a
number of androgen action and have specifc role for male sexual differentiation
and support spermatogenesis in adult rat. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is a more
potentandrogen and the active ligand in a number of androgen target tissues and
required for male reproductivetract development. DHT is metabolized
signifcantly by reduction 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase in liver or androgen
target tissues and excreted in urin.
