RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PERPUSTAKAAN DI SMK NEGERI 1 CERME
Abstract: A Library is
considered as a place for education, research, preservation, information,and
recreation in order to improve intelligence and empowerment of the nation.
Currently there aresome core processes at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme library, namely:
books inventory records, books loan and return, records of infringement, books
procurement process and the books destruction recordsthe absence of catalog in
the library becomes major problem since library may spare a lottime to search
books. In the process of return, the problems are circulation of retuning books
is notrunning well caused the borrowers are not returning the books not on
time. Another problems is missing data which caused the librarian must to
double checking against the currently existingstock and the reports such as
destruction report and book inventory. With the computerized libraryapplication
at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Library can assist the registration, lending and returns transactions
and in the library, with the book catalog can help the students to reduce the
time to searchthe books that they need, automatically reports would make it
easier to pass the information to the school.
