PENGARUH KONSELING GIZI TERHADAP KEPATUHAN DIET PENDERITA HIPERKOLESTEROLEMIA DI POLIKLINIK GIZI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH BITUNG
ABSTRACT: Overall this number
about 4.4 million deaths (7.9% of the world's total deaths) and 40.4 million
Disability Adjused Life Year (2.8% incidence). This study aimed to analyze the
effect of nutritional counseling on dietary adherence in patients with hypercholesterolemia
nutrition clinic General Hospital Bitung. This type of research is a quasi
experiment with the design of the study one group pretest-posttest design
without comparison. Was held in July 2014 in nutrition clinic General Hospital
Bitung. The variables in the study consisted of a dependent variable that
dietary compliance and the independent variables are nutritional counseling.
The population of all patients with the disease hypercholesterolemia. The
number of samples determined 35 consecutif sampling. Most research results
obtained samples with male gender and age> 35 years. Data analysis using
Wilcoxon test values obtained significancy 0,000 (ρ <0.05) while using the
backward method LR indicates that the influence dietary compliance anddecreased
levels of blood cholesterol is the nutritional status (BMI). The conclusion of this
study that the nutritional status variables are variables that are considered
the most influence on dietary adherence and decrease blood cholesterol levels
after being given counseling.
