HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU DENGAN TATA LAKSANA DIARE TANPA DEHIDRASI PADA BALITA DI DESA GUMULAN KECAMATAN KLATEN TENGAH
Abstract: Diarrhea is one of
the infectious disease is still a public health problem in Indonesia. Health
Profile Klaten (2013) found the highest coverage of diarrhea in infants in
Klaten amounted to 93.33%. This proves that the diarrheal disease in children
under five is still a health problem. Mother very important role in the
incidence of diarrhea in infants. Improve maternal knowledge about the
prevention and management of diarrhea in infants becomes very important given
the age of the child or children are highly vulnerable to various diseases,
especially diarrhea.
Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship with the
mother's knowledge of governance diarrhea without dehydration in infants.
Research methode : This type of research is analytic survey. The sample
was all mothers who have children aged 1-5 years diarrhea by 51 mothers. The
sampling technique using total sampling. The instrument used was a
questionnaire. Bivariate statistical tests using Kendall Tau.
The reult of research : On average respondents 30.90 years old, high
school education (62.7%) and unemployed (41.2%), the level of knowledge of
mothers about diarrhea is good at 62.7%, governance diarrhea without
dehydration mom is good at 51.0%, Kendall Tau test results obtained p value of
0.038 (α = 0.05).
Conclusions: There is a relationship with the mother's knowledge of
governance diarrhea without dehydration in infants in the village of Klaten
District of Central
