ABSTRACT: Seahorse, Hippocampus barbouri is one of marine living resources having high commercial values and has commonly been traded especially as live ornamental aquarium fish, raw material of traditional medicine and as souvenirs. This expriment was conducted to determine the fertilization and hatching rate of eggs which spawned under control condition. Broodstock was rearing and spawned until six times in fiberglass container. Results of this experiments showed that seahorse broodstock was spawning six times under control condition was not significant influence to the fertilization and hatching rate of eggs (P>0.05). Percentage of fertilization and hatching rate of seahorse eggs obtained about 93–100% and 91.74–97.83%, respectively.
