STRUKTUR TROFIK LEVEL IKAN PELAGIS YANG DOMINAN TERTANGKAP BAGAN RAMBO DI PERAIRAN PANTAI KABUPATEN BARRU SELAT, MAKASSAR
ABSTRACT: The research was
conducted during 2005 on coastal water of Barru Regency, Makassar Strait. To
determine fish trophic level used TrophLab2K software. The result showed that structure
of the trophic level of fish caught by bagan Rambo at the study site is dominated
by fish that are at a relatively low trophic level. The composition of the
catch during 2005 bagan Rambo shows the proportion of fish larger planktivor.
The composition of the average trophic levels of pelagic fish fluctuated within
a year but consistently shows the volume of fish at a relatively low trophic
levels. These results indicate the possibility of over fishing for pelagic with
bagan Rambo's.
