SELEKSI BAKTERI PROBIOTIK AMILOLITIK PADA SALURAN PENCERNAAN IKAN GURAME (OSPHRONEMUS GAURAMY)
ABSTRACT: Native microbes in
gastrointestinal tract of fish have positive roles due to exogenous enzymes
such as amylase. These enzymes promote and support fish endogenous enzymes in
hydrolyzing nutrients from fish diet. This research aimed to isolated and
selected of probiotic amylolitc bacteria in gastrointestinal tract of gauramy.
Selection of probiotic consisted 5 tests namely: Testing Activities amylolytik,
Tests for antagonistic activity, resistance to gastric acid and bile salts,
attachment test, test of pathogenicity. The selected amylolytic bacteria were:
Np 6, Np 7 and Np 8. Bacterial isolates were selected as candidate probiotic
bacteria amylolytic bacterial isolates Np 8 because it has a large amylolytic
of 18 mm, to survive well at low pH and high pH, has the greatest antagonistic
activity against pathogenic bacteria of 9.22 ± 0 , 00 mm in Aeromonas
hydrophila.
