PENGARUH TINGKAT PEMBERIAN ZPT GIBBERELLIN (GA3) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN VEGETATIF TANAMAN KANGKUNG AIR (IPOMEA AQUATICA FORSK L.) PADA SISTEM HIDROPONIK FLOATING RAFT TECHNIQUE (FRT)

Abstrak: Accelerate growth and harvest kale can be done with the plant growth regulator (PGR) Gibberellin. This study aimed to determine the effect of plant growth regulator Gibberellin types GA3 on growth of vegetative plant water spinach (Ipome aquatica Forsk L.) varieties super. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely 5 doses of Gibberellin is G0 (0 ppm GA3), G1 (5 ppm GA3), G2 (10 ppm GA3), G3 (15 ppm GA3), and G4 (20 ppm GA3) on vegetative growth kale on a raft floating hydroponic system that uses standard nutrient solution Fertimix leaf vegetables. Gibberellin given at the time of making the planting medium, so that the EC measured 2.1. In this study there were five treatments and each treatment was replicated eight times, so the experiment consists of 40 units. Each quiz consists of 6 plants so the plants are used as much as 240 plants. The results showed that GA3 significantly affected plant height, age 9 DAT (days after planting), 15 DAT, and 18 DAT. Treatment G3 (15 ppm GA3) significantly improve wet weight stover, fresh weight of shoots and roots wet weight, dry weight, and dry weight of shoots stover. Root dry weight and stem diameter was not affected GA3.
