ABSTRACT: Situ Cipondoh is the largest ‘situ’ (small lake) in Tangerang. In order to formulate a strategy to develop the areas, basic information was needed. The aims of this study was to give some informations about the spatial utilizations of Situ Cipondoh, especially in agriculture and fishery activities. Spatial image analysis and field observation carried out to obtain more information about the utilization. Based on the measurement results, Situ Cipondoh occupied an area of 126 ha, that composed of 44.178 ha water bodies and 53.365 ha wetlands. The water body has shrunk at 81.998 ha as compared by initially wide (126.1757 Ha). Various fisheries activities in the Situ Cipondoh are fishery cages (1.782 ha), fisheries ponds (9.745 ha), fishing. Agricultural activities in Situ Cipondoh’s area occupying 49.447 hectares, consisting of rice fields, gardens and moor.
