MENINGKATKAN PRODUKSI KACANG TANAH DENGAN PENGEMBANGAN KULTIVAR LOKAL ASAL BANTEN DAN PEMANFAATAN MIKORIZA PADA LAHAN KERING

ABSTRACT: The experiment was conducted in order to assess the response of local groundnut cultivars with different levels of tolerance to drought stress were inoculated FMA. Research has been done on the ground in the village of Sukarame, District Cikeusal, Serang from August 2011 to November 2011. Experiments using a factorial randomized block design pattern, consisting of 2 factors. The first factor: the local peanut cultivar from Banten with different tolerance to drought stress, namely: Lightning cultivars (tolerant), Malingping (quite tolerant), and Cikeusal (sensitive). The second factor: FMA dose 0 g / plant and 20 g / plant. Each treatment combination was repeated 4 times. The results showed that administration of FMA inoculant dose 20 g / plant resulted in a ratio of peanut root pupus (RPA) is lower, the higher the percentage of infected roots, and root density at a depth of 20-30 cm higher than that without giving FMA inoculant for local cultivar peanuts from Banten both tolerant, fairly tolerant, and sensitive to drought stress. Similarly, the weight of pod and seed weight increased with the provision of FMA in both cultivars tolerant, fairly tolerant, and sensitive.
