KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS TUPAI (TUPAIIDAE) DI DALAM KAWASAN HUTAN TEMBAWANG DESA SOMPAK KECAMATAN SOMPAK KABUPATEN LANDAK
Abstract: This study aims to
determine species diversity of squirrel in Tembawang Forest the Sompak village
Sompak District of Porcupine District. The total area of 21 ha research site,
300 m wide, 700 m long. This research was conducted by direct observation using
the lane. Observations were made in the village of Forest Areas Tembawang
Sompak, with 3 repetitions of each track, there are many lanes 4 lanes, with a
path length of 200 meters and width of lanes 50 m, and 50 m to the left, to the
right of each -masing so broad lines of 2 ha each lane. The first path is
determined intentionally (purposive). Based on the results of research squirrel
species that were found in the village of Forest Areas Tembawang Sompak, there
are four types of squirrel with a number of individuals sebayak 118 tail
namely: T. minor, T. Splendidula , T. tana, T. Picta. Index value of species
diversity 1.47089 index value of evenness 1.06102 dominance index value of
0.29517383 and species richness index value of 0.690627. diversity squirrel near 1.5 it s means From the results of these
data values approaching species is classified, and the value of dominance
index value is close to zero, meaning no squirrel species are the most dominant
in the forest areas tembawang Sompak village. But there are two types of
squirrels are quite stout is found that, T.minor, and T. Splendidula.
