KAJIAN USAHA PETERNAKAN AYAM RAS PEDAGING DI KABUPATEN KARANG ANYAR: MEMBANDINGKAN ANTARA POLA KEMITRAAN DAN POLA MANDIRI
ABSTRACT: In line with the
increase in population and income levels are accompanied by a change in
consumption patterns and tastes of the public, the level of per capita meat
consumption is likely to increase. The development of meat consumption in
Indonesia in order to meet the needs of animal protein, more comes from
national poultry industry (IUN). Broiler meat consumption in 1998 reached 1239
tons, and increased to 1624 tonnes in 2002. The increasing demand for chicken
meat is causing a growing population of broiler nationwide, from 285,000
thousand in 1998, to 883,400 thousand in 2005, or an increase by a rate of 8.85
percent per year.
