KAJIAN ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN PENGOLAHAN HASIL PERIKANAN DI KABUPATEN SERANG
ABSTRACT: This study aims: (1)
identify the potential and conditions of fisheries in Serang, (2) determine the
type, location and pattern of development of processed fishery commodities, (3)
determine the feasibility of fishery product processing units to be developed,
(4) determine the development strategy fishery product processing units.
Distributing a questionnaire study was conducted from December 2009 until
October 2010, with the number of respondents 28 people.Analysis of data on the
methodology of this study have been
using Comparative Method Exponential (MPE), Analytical Hierarchy Process
(AHP). Potential commodities selected from 6 (six) commodities, commodity is
the result of the election of seaweed with the highest total value of 6 (six).
The location was chosen for the development of seaweed is the village of Pulo
Panjang, Pulo Ampel subdistrict, Serang district. The pattern that was
developed for processing is seaweed lunkhead, with the highest total value that
is 5.2, which has several advantages such as already known and have a durable
power high. Results of alternative analysis using Analytical Hierarchy Process
Method shows that the factor of seaweed resources are the biggest factors that
most contribute to the development of processing units lunkhead seaweed on Pulo
Panjang, followed by human resources, public policy and financial capital.
Actors who were most responsible are the government and officials. The selected
development strategy is the development of facilities and infrastructure to
support the processing unit lunkhead seaweed.
