EFEKTIVITAS METODE PENYULUHAN DALAM PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN SUT KONSERVASI PETANI (KASUS KELURAHAN GEREM KOTA CILEGON PROVINSI BANTEN)
ABSTRACT: Agriculture land
usage conversion trend for many purposes in Indonesia can raise national insecurity
food so that its trend must be prevented. This research has goal to identify
the message design which are effective to raise farmer conservation farming
sytems knowledge. This research is designed as experiment research with
explanative qualitative approach in Gerem, Grogol, Cilegon, Banten Province.
Respondens in it are taken by simple random sampling method from farmer who has
his/ her own land. Its data is collected by quistioner, interview, and
literature paper. In addition, its qualitative is described by graph and its
quantitave is analyzed by median comparasion test of responden’s score before
and after treatment. Respondens are divided into two groups based on the
message desain form, group discussion and talk, dealing with conservation farming
systems. Its result shows that the group discussion is more effective compared
to the talk design. There is a tendention that respondens who get group
discussion have higher conservation farming systems knowledge.
