PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA SLIDE PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH DAN QUIZ TEAM PADA MATERI PERGERAKAN KEBANGSAAN INDONESIA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 21 MALANG
Abstrak: A professional
teacher should have
various skills in
utilizing technology to improve teaching and learning quality. In
accordance with the result
of observation in
SMPN 21 Malang,
there were sufficient facilities
provided to support
the teaching and
learning history by using PowerPoint. However, the motivation was low
and most of them
still had scores
which were below
the Minimum Learning Mastery.
The research problems
discussed in this
study were: 1) how
was the mechanism
of developing?; 2)
how was the implementation of
developing?; 3) how
was the motivation
and learning result of
the eighth graders
in SMPN 21
Malang after utilizing Slide
instructional media for
history and Quiz
Team by using PowerPoint
2010 program in the Indonesian
National Movement material?. The
present study employed
a research and development method
adapted from Sadiman
and Sukmadinata. It consisted
of preliminary study,
requirement analysis, objective formulation, material
construction, evaluation formulation,
media designation,
production, user guide,
product validation, and
trials. The result was
88.93% (valid) in
accordance with the
evaluation from the expert
of the lesson,
the validity of
these media was 77.81% (fair). In addition, the
percentage of validity of these media based
on the result
of the trials
in small groups
and in field respectively were 93.79% (valid) and
91.636% (valid). Meanwhile, the
improvement of the
students motivation was
26.412%. Moreover, these instructional
media could improve
the students’ learning result.
